Prison Ministry
According to the Bible, Matthew 25:36 “I was in prison and you visited me”, the CIC sisters started helping the persons who are in prisons. They take keen interest to visit prisons in which prisoners are shut up. They visit them twice a month. The prisoners are given consolation and counseling by the sisters. They are provided with meals, sweets, clothing, notebooks and basic needs during festival days. They also give entertainment and amusement during gala days, time of rejoicing. Our commission for prison ministry gets involved in prison ministry at Ramnad, Paramakudi, Manamadurai and Kalayarkovil.
