To commemorate the Silver Jubilee of Larmey Province – Sivagangai, a new home was built for Mr. Anandh, the provincialate’s driver, on his own land. The house was officially opened on March 12, 2025, by the Provincial of Larmey Province.

A retirement ceremony was held at the Provincialate, Sivagangai, on March 29, 2025, to honor the dedicated service of Rev.Sr. Thanamary and Rev. Sr. Rose Rani (2024–2025). Rev. Fr. Sebastian, Director of Vianny Pastoral Centre, celebrated the thanksgiving Mass. Students from St. Cecilia’s Middle School, Manamadurai, gave joyful cultural performances, adding to the spirit of gratitude and festivity.
On February 2, 2025, at Leonard Campus, Madurai, Larmey Province’s Prison Ministry held an outreach event for the families of prison inmates. Ten families participated and received assistance including sewing machines, livestock, and educational aid to support their livelihood and reintegration.
Rev. Fr. Amalraj was the guest of honour. The event was coordinated by Rev. Sr. Antoniammal (Social Welfare Commission) and Sr. Y. Sahayamary (Prison Ministry), alongside other dedicated sisters.
Rev. Sr. Joseph Kamala Rani, Headmistress of Sahayarani Girls’ Higher Secondary School, Susaiapparpattanam, received the Tamil Nadu Government’s Dr. Radhakrishnan Best Teacher Award for 2023–2024. Heartfelt congratulations to her!
Sahayarani Girls’ Hr. Sec. School secured the First Place with 146 points in the Diocese of Sivagangai’s Moral and Catechism examination. The trophy was presented by the Bishop on October 6, 2024, during the Oriyur Pilgrimage.
At the rural dance competition celebrating the Bishop’s birthday and the 10th Anniversary of Matha TV, students from Sahayarani Girls’ Hr. Sec. School secured 6th place and won a cash prize of ₹15,000.
Children once abandoned, neglected, and suffering from traumatic experiences found care and hope at Amala Anbukarangal, Salem. Established in 1999, this center has worked for 25 years to provide holistic development and rehabilitation for street children, guided by the motto “To uphold human dignity.”
To mark 25 years of grace and service, a Silver Jubilee celebration was held on February 15, 2025, presided over by the Most Rev. Rayappan Arul Selvam, Bishop of Salem. The Bishop blessed the newly constructed Jubilee Memorial Hall, and the commemorative plaque was unveiled by Sr. V. Leema Rose, Provincial of Larmey Province – Sivagangai.
A solemn concelebrated Mass followed, attended by diocesan and religious priests, CIC sisters and friends, children, and members of other religious congregations. Many former residents of Amala Anbukarangal who are now well-settled also joined the celebration.
On July 30, 2023, the foundation stone was laid for Amala Annai Public (CBSE) School in Sathanur, Ponnamaravathi Taluk, Pudukottai District. The construction, led by Engineer Mr. Amalan from Madurai, culminated in a grand inauguration on February 12, 2025.
Rev. Sr. Antony Pushpa Ranjitham, Superior General, opened the school. The Most Rev. Dr. Sahayaraj, Bishop of Thanjavur, unveiled the commemorative plaque, led the prayer service, and blessed the entire campus.
Rev. Sr. DhanseeliSengole, Assistant Superior General, inaugurated the classrooms, while the Prayer Hall was opened by Rev. Sr. V. Leema Rose, Provincial. The First Floor was inaugurated by Rev. Sr. Selvamani, Provincial of Palai Province. Dr. Sakthival, Chairman of SSLF, inaugurated the administrative office.
Guests of honour were warmly welcomed, followed by vibrant cultural performances by students of Amala Annai Matric Higher Secondary School, Ponnamaravathi. As a token of gratitude, a gold ring was presented to Engineer Mr. Amalan.
The presence of Larmey Province sisters, former principals and staff, panchayat leaders, and parents made the event a memorable and grand celebration. Souvenirs were distributed to all participants.
On May 20, 2024, amidst many challenges, the Immaculate College of Nursing in Larmey Province was officially inaugurated. The Most Rev. Dr. LourdhuAnandam, Bishop of the Diocese of Sivagangai, opened the entrance gate and blessed the entire campus.
Rev. Sr. Antony Pushpa Ranjitham, Superior General of CIC, formally inaugurated the Nursing College. Sr. V. Leema Rose, Provincial of Larmey Province, unveiled the commemorative plaque. Rev. Sr. Agnes Xavier, former Superior General and current Administrator of Nilakottai Mission Station, inaugurated the Foundation Lab- thecenter for medical training.
Sr. DhanseeliSengole inaugurated the passenger lift, after which the Bishop blessed each part of the facility. Mr. Amalraj, a generous donor from the local community, inaugurated the multipurpose hall, while his son-in-law, Mr. Ezhilarasan, unveiled its inscription.
The lamp-lighting ceremony was led by the Bishop of Sivagangai, along with the Superior General, Provincial, College Administrator, and the Parish Priest of Puliyal. A solemn high Mass was celebrated by the Bishop, concelebrated with fellow priests. Sr. V. Leema Rose and College Administrator Sr. Motch Alangaram extended a warm welcome to all.
Cultural programs enhanced the celebration, with participation from former Superiors General, Provincials, priests, sisters, donors, and invited guests, who added beauty and grace to the event.
