On 21.04.2024, at our Provincialate the Appreciation ceremony for Rev. Sr.Josephine Mahimai Mary, Sr.Josephine Angel Mary, Sr.Jeya Pushpa Rani, Sr.Amalorpavam those who retired in the year of 2023-2024 was celebrated with Holy mass, cultural events and the fellowship meal. Holy Mass was celebrated by Rev.Fr.Dellus. Cultural progammes were given by the students of St. Cecilia’s Middle school, Manamadurai and St. Francis Middle school Sivagangai.
Amala Annai Hr. Sec School is situated in the beautiful village of Karangadu, where three seas meet. It was established in 1998 with the aim of providing standardized education to its students. The school celebrated its silver jubilee on 12th January 2024, which was a simple event. Rev. Sr. V. Leema Rose the provinicial of Larmey Province presided over the function and Mr. Vedachalam the Project Director of CARD (Community Action for Rural Development), puduottai and Mrs. Jeya Vedachalam, and Joint Director took part as the dignitaries. CARD Company presented a water purification plant and it was installed by Rev.Sr.V. Leema Rose the provinicial of Larmey Province.
On 03.04.2024 certain welfare schemes were promoted to 16 families of prisoners by Larmey Province. In order to improve their lively hood they had been provided with saving Sewing machine, Grinder, Goat, Sprayers (Agriculture) and the Amount for college studies. This event was held at Leonard School Campus, Madurai under the president ship of Rev.Sr.Leema Rose the Provincial. Rev.Fr.Selastin was the guest of honour. This get together was co coordinated by Rev Sr. Mary Angel and Sr. Angel the co-coordinator of prison ministry and Srs.Sahayam.
On 20.12.2023 the new residential building for sisters at susaiapparpattinam was opened and blessed. The building was built in such a way for the dwelling of 12 sisters. The building was inaugurated by Rev. Sr. Thansaseeli Sengole the Asst. General and the inscription was opened by Rev. Sr. Leema Rose the provincial of Larmey Province. The Most. Rev. Dr. Lourdhu Anantham the Bishop of the diocese of Sivagangai blessed the house & the chapel. And there had been a concelebrated mass.
On 29.10.2023 Friends of CIC were offered themselves for the service of CIC in the parish of Udaiyapatty, Salem diocese. It was presided over by Most Rev. Singarayan D.D Bishop of Salem and our Asst. Superior General Rev.Sr. Dhanaseeli Sengole has graced us in this celebration. Rev. Fr.Astin Joy MSFS Parish Priest of Udaiyapatty, Rev. Fr. Anbarasu MSFS, Rev. Fr. Xavier MSFS, Rev.Fr. Justin MSFS all united and celebrated the Holy Mass as one family. In the presence of bishop and the people, friends of CIC offered themselves for the service and then Rev.Sr. Leema Rose V Provincial Superior of Larmey Province, Rev.Sr.Juliat Thavamani Devi theVice Provincial and the Consulters Rev.Sr.Dhanamary, Rev.Sr.Antoniammal, Rev.Sr.Amalorpavam. On the guidance of Rev.Sr. Petrecia the veneration fest of friends of CIC was celebrated in grand manner.
The Centenary of Fatima Primary School, Which was started in 1923 was celebrated in a grand manner at Puthur, Trichy on 08.08.2023. Within a century it is an achievement that the primary has been elevated to the level of High School. The Presence of the Rt. Rev. Dr. Arockia Raj the Bishop of Trichy. Rev.Sr.Antony Pushpa Ranjitham Superior General, Rev.Sr.Dhanaseeli Sengole Asst.Superior General, Rev.Sr.Leema Rose the Provinicial of Larmey Province, the administrative team of Larmeny Province, Former Provincial Rev.Sr.Mariya Pushpam, Provincials of Augus and Eugene Provinces, the former teaching sisters and old Students added colour and made the Centenary celebration a historical event.
“The Lord has done this, and it is marvelous in our eyes”. As per the Biblical words, the Silver Jubilee celebration of Larmey Province began in a well grand manner on 13.06.2022 at 5.30 pm in the evening. The present Superior General Rev.Sr.Antony Pushpa Ranjitham, Asst.Superior General Rev.Sr.Dhanaseeli Sengole, General Councilors and Former Superiors General Rev.Sr.Josephine Alphonsa, Rev.Sr.Antony Xavier, Rev.Sr.Agnes Xavier, Former Provincial Superiors Rev.Sr.Motcha Alangaram, Rev.Sr.Mariya Pushpam and Rev.Sr.Alphonse Fatima and the sisters of the province were present. From 6.30 pm to 7.30 pm The Eucharistic adoration prayer was led by Rev.Fr.David Arockiam the Director of Matha Television and his team at 8.30 pm the Sisters of Larmey Province gave cultural programs and made this event special.
Thanks giving Mass was celebrated on 14.06.2022 at 9 am under the presidentship of the Most Rev. Dr. Stephen the Apostolic Administrator of the Diocese of Sivagangai, The Most Rev. Dr. Susai Manickam Emerithus Bishop of sivagangai and the Priests from the Diocese as well as the Priests from the religious congregations. For this Holy Mass celebration, the sisters from Generalate, General councilors, the administrative team members of Madurai, and palayamkottai and the sisters and brothers from other congregations joined together to double our happiness. As per the decision to build a house to the mother of Rev.Sr.Antony mary the foundation was laid on 02.09.2022 at Muruhuthuranpatti and on 17.12.2022 the newly built house was opened by Rev.Sr.Leema Rose the provincial and it was blessed by Rev.Fr. Augustine Prabu the parish priest of Muruhuthuranpatti, Mr. Anananth the provincialate driver was also given the model of the house to be built for him. Mr. Raj (Sr.Jaculine’s brother one who is parentless) was also given a hosing land.

To thank the almighty God who guided and protected our school for the past 50 years, Holy mass was concelebrated by The Most Rev.Dr.Susai Manickam Emerithus Bishop of Sivagangai and the priests followed by the holy mass, the newly erected statue of St. Joseph, the Patron Saint of education was unveiled by Rev.Sr.Antony Pushpa Ranjitham Superior General of our Congregation.
Similarly the KIDS Park was established. It was unveiled by our Present Provincial Rev.Sr.V.Leema Rose and it was blessed by our Parish Priest Rev.Fr.Diraviam, the Parish Priest of Alangara Matha Church and the Vicar Forane of Paramakudi.
Then after a short break, the golden jubilee cultural programmes got started. The students of our school performed many eye catching performances. In between, a video show was screened about former principals’ and Correspondents’ achievements during their period. Prizes were distributed to the students who took first three places in the public examinations held in the academic year 2021-2022 and for the students who scored 100/100. It is a matter of pride that the student of Don Bosco Matric Hr.Sec.School, Paramakudi stood first in the SSLC public examinations in Paramakudi Educational
District level.
Our school health workers (8 women) were presented gold ear ring as a memory of the Golden Jubilee. Then the Golden Jubilee celebration ended happily with Lunch for all.

The establishment of I.C. Convent at Suranam in 1923 is the fourth notable milestone in the history of CIC and the first notable milestone in the diocese of Sivagangai. It is a great honour to a small Village which is located at the very edge of the planetary system.
In view of celebrating our 100 years of service, Suranam had a festive look on 18.02.2023. The Most Rev.Dr.Susai Manickam Emerithus Bishop of Sivagangai, made a special touch to this celebration by presiding over the Eucharistic celebration. The Former Parish Priests, well-wishers accompanied in the Con celebrated mass. Rev.Sr.Antony Pushpa Ranjitham Superior General of CIC inaugurated Larmey Seaming Academy (Tailoring) and Rev.Fr. Diraviam the Vicar Forane of Paramakudi blessed the Seaming Academy. It is our joy that ten poor students were gifted with the Cheque for Rupees 10000 each in remembrance of this Centenary Celebration. Rev.Sr.Agnes Xavier Former Superior General, Rev.Sr.Dhanaseeli Sengol Assistant Superior General of CIC, Rev.Fr. Ambrose Louis Parish Priest of Suranam, Rev.Sr.Motcha Alangaram former Provincial, General Councilors, the Sisters who were born at Suranam Parish were the special invitees to this celebration.
The students of St. James’ School and St.Mary’s School welcomed everyone through Silampam. Besides all the programmes and Cultural events fellowship meal also added strong flavor to this celebration.

Srs Sahaya Mary stanislas.Y, Sahaya Mary, Lourdhu Selva Rani and Irudhaya mary Saroja who retired in the year 2022-2023 was celebrated with Holy mass, cultural events and the fellowship meal. Holy Mass was celebrated by Rev.Fr.Amalan. Cultural progammes were given by the students of St. Cecilia’s Middle school, Manamadurai and St. Francis Middle school Sivagangai.
On 07.07.2021 the 8th Province chapter was held at Sivagangai – Larmey province. Our former Bishop the Most Rev.Dr.Susaimanickam celebrated Mass before beginning the chapter and our Superior General Rev.Sr.Pushpa Ranjitham animated the Province chapter. During this chapter the new administrative group was elected. It is as follows

The 8th Province Chapter Planning Sessions were held on 09.08.2021 and 10.08.2021. On 09.08.2021 the previous administrative group submitted the Five Years Report (2016 to 2021). On 10.08.2021, Planning for four years mission was held and it was led by Rev. Fr. Aloysius Irudayam S.J.
The recollection was held on 13.08.2021 at Madurai-Pillar for the General and Province Team. It was led by Fr.Chezhiyan, Fr.Jacop and Bro.Joshua.
The orientation programme was conducted by Fr.Jerry S.J for the administrative team on 14.8.2021 and 15.8.2021.
The Golden Jubilee of Rev. Sr. Alphonse Fatima, the Provincial was celebrated at Sivagangai Provincialate on 30.04.2021
Sacerdotal Golden Jubilee of The Most Rev.J. Susaimanickam D.D.,S.T.D., Emeritus Bishop of Sivagangai and his retirement functions were celebrated by CIC Sivagangai Province on 10.01.2021. He was welcomed by Rev. Sr. Alphonse Fatima, the Provincial by garlanding. After a solemn Eucharist, he was felicitated with a cultural programme.
Our step daughter Miss. Hemalatha who has been brought up in our Amala Anbukaram – Salem was to be married to Mr David son of Late Mr Joseph and Mrs Irudhaya Mary of Thidakkottai village which comes under Puliyal parish in Sivagangai diocese. The engagement was held on 28.10.2020 in Amala Anbukaram-Salem. The marriage was solemnized on 30.10.2020 in Adaikala Annai church – Thidakkottai.
